Biography

Green Bay based harpist Cheryl Murphy plays both the Celtic and the pedal harp. She has performed at Milwaukee Irish Fest, Artstreet, with the Fox Valley Symhony, and was harpist with the Civic Symphony of Green Bay for 14 years. She plays in Door County Wisconsin at The White Gull Inn for the inn's Progressive Dinners. She also performs there on New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day and weekly throughout the year. She is a community advocate and donates her time to many non profit organizations including the Women’s Fund of Door County Wisconsin and Princeton Wisconsin’s Crane Fest, the Neville Public Museum, the Brown County PAL’s Program, and the Green Bay Botanical Garden. 

Cheryl  has three CD releases, about blue, about green, and about yellow, and is currently working on a fourth CD.  CDs can be currently purchased at Watercolorharps.com. 

Cheryl is the harpist (and tin whistle and "bones" player) for the Irish group Celtic  Consort.
